Barbara Morgan S.T.E.M. Academy is a K-5 school of choice. Although all standards are taught, there is an emphasis on the concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Critical thinking and problem solving skills are systematically taught and reinforced through hands-on, project-based activities that correlate to the District Science curriculum and focus on real-world application. The foundations of the academic program are based on inquiry learning, integrated instruction and the instructional alignment of concepts. Spaces are limited and a lottery process is utilized to place students. Please contact the school for more information on their programming and enrollment.

Rocket Launch Success!!
Thank you to all who attended the launch of Barbara Morgan STEM Academy. With your help, each class was able to design a rocket and see it launched high in the air. Our rocket launch was a huge success!
"Congrats on a wonderful day celebrating your new school! I am so impressed with what I observed today and am so excited for the awesome learning kids will be doing inside your school all year long."

BMSA "ROAR"ing Rocket Values:

Ownership-I am honest about my behavior, and I try my best to ROAR with pride!

**We have developed our expectations as a staff and are reaping the benefits of all students and staff being on the same page. We celebrate these traits each month at our assembly as well as weekly with ROAR ticket drawings. It is fun to watch our students meet these high expectations for positive behavior. Thank you to our community for their support and commitment to these traits as well. Our BMSA community "ROAR"s loud and proud like rockets in the sky.
