PLEASE NOTE: The following school calendars are subject to change. These calendars reflect what has currently been approved by the Board of Trustees. However, with the final calendar is subject to the Public Education Appropriation of the 2011 and 2012 Legislature and the collective bargaining process in Joint School District No. 2.

The modified, or “year round,” calendar gives parents and students an 11-month option for attending school. With a year-round calendar, children attend school the same number of days during the year as students at schools with a traditional calendar. Chaparral Elementary, Seven Oaks Elementary, Pioneer, Elementary, and Spalding Elementary are the schools in Joint District No. 2 that offer the modified calendar.
Students at these schools have a number of holidays in common with traditional calendar schools, including Labor Day, Thanksgiving Vacation, Christmas Vacation, Human Rights Day, President’s Day, Spring Break, and Memorial Day.
