Welcome to Discovery Elementary!  With an excellent team of teachers and staff, our goal is to serve our students and provide an atmosphere of teamwork and positive thinking.  

Helping to make our school what it is, Discovery is fortunate to have over 200 volunteers each week.  These volunteers spend their time in the classroom with the students as well as providing service for teachers. Volunteers in the classroom assist teachers by offering individual tutoring, artwork training by art parents, and other needs.  Volunteers also offer one-on-one assistance for students in math, reading, and language arts. 

Our school’s PTA has been up and running for several years and is doing a great job.  With many events and activities planned each year, the PTA helps raise funds for our children and our school.

 

We welcome parents to be an active part of our school in any way they can.  Our students and school benefit by everyone working together.
