What is the Grant Award Program?

The Education Foundation has an annual grant cycle in which the teachers write competitive grants for innovative and creative programs for their classrooms.

The grant application is available on the district website as well as this site at the beginning if each school year. The grant deadline is the second Wednesday in December. Grants are reviewed by district personnel and the foundation board. Funded grants are announced the first week of March. Teachers receive their funding the first week of June so the materials needed for their grant may be purchased over the summer for the next school year.

Grant funds must be spent by October 15 unless special arrangements have been made. Teachers submit an evaluation of their grant in April.

How do I apply for a Grant Award?

The application will be found at this site and the district intranet by the opening of each school year.
