LIVING IN THE TREASURE VALLEY
Idaho's Treasure Valley serves as a gateway to many of the state's scenic treasures. Within sixteen miles to the north is the Boise National Forest and Bogus Basin Ski Resort. To the south is the Snake River Canyon, which includes the World Center for Birds of Prey. Within two hours are the resort ski towns of Sun Valley and McCall, and within the same distance is access to some of the best and most pristine wilderness areas in the United States.
The Treasure Valley itself boasts an excellent quality of life, with numerous parks, a greenbelt that follows the Boise River right within the city of Boise, and recreational opportunities in the mountain foothills that line the valley's northern edge.
The Treasure Valley is home to the state's capitol, Boise, three universities, three major performing arts centers, and numerous other recreational and cultural opportunities.
