PLEASE NOTE:  The following school calendares are subject to change.  These calendars reflect what has currently been approved by the Board of Trustees.  However, with the reduction in school funding for the 2010 fiscal year, changes may be necessary to reflect a reduction in days during the school year for 2009-2010.

The modified, or “year round,” calendar gives parents and students an 11-month option for attending school. With a year-round calendar, children attend school the same number of days during the year as students at schools with a traditional calendar.  Chaparral Elementary, Seven Oaks Elementary, Pioneer, Elementary, and Spalding Elementary are the schools in Joint District No. 2 that offer the modified calendar.

Students at these schools have a number of holidays in common with traditional calendar schools, including Labor Day, Thanksgiving Vacation, Christmas Vacation, Human Rights Day, President’s Day, Spring Break, and Memorial Day.
