What is Happening at HMS:
Heritage to Sun Valley Day trip:
The Sawtooth and Heritage Ski Clubs are sponsoring a trip to Sun Valley for a day of skiing. It is Feb. 25th and is an all day event. We will leave at 6 am and return at 9 pm the same day. There will be no direct supervision during the day on the mountain. Parents are encouraged to join us.
The cost is $60 for ski club members and $70 for all others. The price includes an all day ski pass, pizza and pop before the ride back, and a ride on a chartered bus with a rest room. Parents and other non ski club members are welcome to come at $70 a person. Parents will only need to chaperone the bus.
The cut-off date is Monday, Feb. 20th to reserve a spot on the bus. Contact the school with any questions.
Rocky Mountain High School is having an open house for all incoming freshmen. It is on Tuesday, March 6th at 6 p.m.
Every year for the last seven years an organization called St. Baldrick’s Foundation has held a volunteer head shaving event in Boise to raise money for kid’s cancer research. On March 2, 2012, we will have a St. Baldrick’s shave day at HMS during an advisory assembly. If you have questions, are interested in shaving your head, are interested in donating money, or are interested in donating your time as a volunteer or as a licensed beautician and shaver please contact Ms. Tlucek or Nurse Kristi at 350-4130.
