The GLAD program comes to Linder
Mrs. Paul and Ms. Haylett were selected to participate in a Guided Language Acquisition Design (GLAD) study through Education Northwest. Project GLAD emphasizes engagement and interaction to present content in Science and Social Studies. The teachers will be trained over the next two years and the rest of the staff is to be trained in 2012-2013. We are very excited about this program and we know it will help our Lions ROAR to success in middle school.
PBIS is ROARing
As you may know we have adopted the ROAR traits of Respect, Ownership, Attitude and Responsibility at Linder to help our students be successful. We have developed our expectations as a staff and reaping the benefits of all students and staff being on the same page. We celebrate these traits each month at our assembly as well as weekly with ROAR ticket drawings. It is fun to watch our students meet these high expectations for positive behavior. Thank you to our community for their support and commitment to these traits as well. Our Linder community ROARs.
