Driver Education classes are held at Centennial High School, Eagle High School, Meridian High School and Mountain View High School The course will last approximately 7-9 weeks and is typically held after school three days per week from 3:00pm –5:30 pm. (Two days of Class and 1 day of Driving)

Students must be at least 14½ in order to register for the program. Students are selected based on the age of the applicants, meeting the registration and payment deadlines, and the availability of instructors. Students must re-apply if they are not selected for a session. After completion of the program each student is required by the State of Idaho to drive with parental supervision for a minimum of six (6) months and fifty (50) hours.  During this time the parents and students will be required to keep a log of their driving hours.

To successfully complete the program the students must pass all 3 sections of the course (class, driving and attitude).  Failure to pass all sections of the program will result in an overall failing grade, thus resulting in the student re-registering and taking the program again. Full fee payment is required for each course taken. All regular school rules and regulations will be enforced both in the class and in the driving portion.

Applications are available in each Schools Main Office or online.

The summer session will run from June 9 - July 17.
