Joint School District No 2 is committed to the safety and health of all students and staff. Along with school districts across the nation, the district enacted a Wellness Policy to support wellness activities for students and staff. The district is currently in the second year of its Wellness Implementation Plan. Click on the plan to view the 2007-8 goals.
Opting for Wellness brochure was created by one of the school nurses of Joint School District No 2. It is a handout of practical suggestions to incorporate good nutrition into everyday life.

Here is a toolkit created by the Office on Women's Healthin the Department of Health and Human Services. It is a toolkit for parents/caregivers of young teen girls. It was designed to help families make healthier eating choices and become more physically active.
