About Spanish Class:
This is a FUN class that emphasizes Spanish conversation, vocabulary, structure, reading, writing, culture, and history. We will use many approaches to learning Spanish including stories in Spanish, games, presentations, songs, skits, videos, and more. Our focus will be to develop our Spanish language abilities in the following four areas: READING, WRITING, SPEAKING, and LISTENING. Learning a new language is fun, but it is also hard work! You will benefit most if you 1) PARTICIPATE IN CLASS and 2) DO THE WORK ASSIGNED OUTSIDE OF CLASS. These things will keep you from falling behind. I am looking forward to a great year!
Materials Needed for Spanish 1 and 2
(Please contact me by email if any of these will pose a financial hardship.)
- Realidades Workbook (A $12 fee required. Students must pay the fee BEFORE they can receive the workbook.)
- 1 solid color 2-pocket folder (See “Assignment Folder” )
- 3 Ring Binder for: vocabulary, notes, paper, etc.
- Pencils/Pens
