By offering a students the opportunity to student in the math and sciences, they are given the chance to take these skills into all areas of learning.  The Math and Science magnet programs offered at Galileo K-8 and Summerwind Elementary give students a chance to learn in a unique way.

The grade level professionals at Galileo and Summerwind provide an educational atmosphere in which the readiness level of the student is closely matched to the level of instruction that best meets the student’s needs.  The project-based instruction at Galileo and Summerwind is experimental, hands-on, and student centered giving students real-life applications to learning.
