Joint School District No. 2 Virtual School House was created to address the educational needs
of students in our district.
Virtual School House provides our students with a valuable alternative to the traditional
classroom instructional method:
Courses are taught by Joint School District No. 2's highly qualified staff.
- Joint School District No. 2 curriculum, textbooks, and other resource materials are used and
- courses are aligned with district and/or state standards.
- Some courses may not be offered through other online virtual schools.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
Geometry A & B
Students will use an integrated approach to concepts of algebra, geometry, logic and probability with an emphasis on geometry. (Scientific calculator is recommended)
Algebra I A & B
This course solidifies skills involving numbers and operations, and emphasizes algebraic manipulation and representation of linear functions and related data analysis skills. (Scientific calculator recommended)
Algebra II A & B
The study of mathematics through Algebra II is required for college bound students. This course emphasizes algebraic manipulation and representation of polynomial functions while introducing concepts involving trigonometry and logarithms. (Scientific and graphing calculator recommended)
