Welcome to the second half of the 2007-2008 school year.  This semester, the district will continue its efforts to expand programs and complete new buildings.  Rocky Mountain High School and Siena K-8 School are both on schedule for occupancy over the summer and opening next fall.  In addition, work continues on the classroom space for the culinary arts program to open next fall at the District Service Center, as does planning for the opening of the Renaissance High School Magnet at the DSC for the fall of 2009

The district continues to work to expand opportunities and to further improve our academic programs.  This spring, students in 5th, 8th and 12th grade will demonstrate their abilities on performance-based academic measures.  Students in grades 3 through 8 and also 10th grade will take the spring Idaho Standards and Achievement Tests (ISAT), and, if trends continue, will demonstrate the highest academic achievement in the state of Idaho.
