Page 1 of 2 The Meridian Joint School District offers year-round calendar choices in four of its elementary schools. These schools offer a calendar that features 12 weeks of school followed by three week breakes for parents who are looking for an alternative to the traditional school calendar. For some families, these calendars are more convenient or work better for their own family calendar. For some parents, they find that the shorter calendar breaks help their students better retain what they learn in school.
